About our NFL Line Movements

Currently we have only one NFL Line Movement Table.  We’ve excluded all lines for now except for week 1.  As we get closer to the season, we’ll display lines for future weeks.

At this point we’re updating BetOnline lines twice per day.  Like our MLB Line Movement table, we’re only displaying anytime a line shift occurs.  For this table, we show any shifts in the spread, juice on spreads, and money line changes.  As the season gets closer, we’ll check for line changes every 15 minutes like we do in MLB.  There’s not much line movement before kickoff, so twice per day should be plenty for now.  We started this tracking on July 1, 2012, so we do not have line shifts before that date.

About Our MLB Line Movements

About our MLB Line Movements

We have three different MLB Line Movement tables.  The first table you will see is line movement for today’s games.  The second table includes line movements for games scheduled for the next today.  The final table includes line movements for games played the previous day.  You will see multiple listings for each match up.  The top listing for a particular game will be the most recent line.

We track BetOnline’s MoneyLine numbers every 15 minutes.  Any time a change to a line is made, we display that change.  Keep in mind that if 2 changes occur inside of a 15 minute window, we will only be recording the final change.  This goes for closing numbers too.  If first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm eastern time, our final line check will be at 7:00 pm eastern time.
